ABOUT US

Hello!  My name is John DeVergilio.  I created JD Entertainment in 1998 out of my love of music and the joy I received out of making others happy.  I noticed that I could read crowds and understand how to create energy in a room full of people through programming music and interacting in various ways.  I've always been involved in music and it seemed to be at the center of my soul.  The entertainment industry seemed to work for me because I'd always wanted to make people enjoy themselves.

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1994 and learned a lot about business and customer service.   I also tended to surround myself with positive hard working dedicated individuals.  These are the tools that have made JD Entertainment so successful over the years.  We are very proud to be ranked the "Best of..." in The Knot Magazine for 2007. 

All of us at JD Entertainment earn our gratification through successful events and weddings.  We work very hard to make that "important day" happen for every client that comes through our door. 

We started as a DJ company and added a few other product lines very early on (like video) to allow our clients to enjoy the festivities and memories over and over again.  We now boast a full-fledged Video Production department, capable of producing professional photo montages, Wedding Video, and Corporate Video projects.  The response from the addition to these new product lines was overwhelming and continues to be.
